The Awlridge Process
1
The Inaugural Encounter

Our dedicated team arrives at your residence fully equipped to listen carefully to your family’s vision and dreams for your living space. We will engage in a collaborative exchange of ideas, discuss options for various materials and finishes used within the space. We will also take some initial measurements and some reference photographs before we leave.
This information gathered at the initial meeting will enable us to provide you with a preliminary cost estimate tailored to your vision.
2
Preliminary Budget and Scope of Work
We’ve crunched the numbers and reviewed costs from previous projects with similar scope and finishes to build your initial preliminary budget. We provide a simplified point form scope of work overviewing the stages involved to complete your renovation. During our meeting with you at our office, we will walk through the details and answer any questions, ensuring everyone is aligned with the information provided. Before concluding our meeting, we’ll also share examples of the quality of the materials included, inspiration from our past projects and an example of what our process entails in the next steps of our renovation process. You then take the time required to make your decisions.
3
Design & Strategy

At this stage, our In-House Design Team will dive into the design details, refine your floor plan and create photo realistic 3D renderings to help you better visualize your new space. Once our Architectural Designer has completed your design, we invite you into our office for an initial review and inspire you with an innovative solution that will elevate the appeal or your home. When you’re confident with the design, our Interior Designer will collaborate with you and our trusted suppliers to curate a detailed product package based on the chosen selections. We will also meet with our experienced subcontractors on-site to explain your project and gather site specific pricing. Once everything is aligned, our In-House Design Team will present the full design package along with a detailed specification and final fixed-cost quote. Once you decide to proceed and finalize the contract, materials will be ordered, permits will be submitted, and the renovation timeline will be established.
4
Let the Building Commence
Once confirmation is received on permits and material arrival, we are able to finalized the construction schedule. At this point a starting date is confirmed and you’ll be invited to a pre-construction meeting to meet your dedicated site supervisor, walk through the final details and the logistics of what to expect while on-site work commences. You will get know our In-House Construction Team throughout the various phases of your project. Our experienced Carpenters emphasize attention to detail to ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining a safe worksite on every project. Extensive care is taken to protected areas of the home that are not being renovated. By implementing effective planning and coordination, our project managers strive to deliver renovation projects on time and within budget. Through regular updates, either by email or in person, you will always be in the know every step of the way.
